This script adds the feature to move stationary ships, like satellites, laser towers or orbital weapon platforms (last ones untested yet), with the Factory Complex Constructor.
Download: Factory Complex Constructor: Addon for stationary ships (1.00)
This download only contains the modified scripts of this inofficial AddOn. That means, you must install the original Factory Complex Constructor files first!
The downloaded .zip file must be unpacked into the X³:TC root directory, already existing files need to be replaced.
To uninstall this script simply unpack the original FCC files into your X³:TC root directory again and overwrite the existing files. No additional files got added for this AddOn, only two FCC files got modified.

Are you the type of person who wants their stations - and other objects, for that matter - in specific positions at specific angles, down to the very millimeter? Have you bemoaned the lack of precise object movement scripts, being forced to make do with cluttersome hotkey bundles that don't quite go far enough? Fret no more! With the Stupendously Precise Entity Relocation Gizmo, you're just one Custom Command away from the object arrangement of your dreams! Just target the object you wish to move, activate the Stupendously Precise Entity Relocation Gizmo, enter the X, Y and Z coordinates and Alpha, Beta and Gamma rotation values you wish your target to have, and PRESTO! Instant alignment, down to the meter! And for those of you on the run or who just want to give your target a quick move to a general location, Stupdneously Precise Entity Relocation Gizmo - Lite lets you choose a sector* and position and whisks your target away instantly!
* Trans-sector relocation only available to ships and select objects, stations and asteroids and other similar bodies need not apply
Should you find yourself dissatisfied with the Stupendously Precise Entity Relocation Gizmo, uninstallation is a breeze! Just run the hotkey removal script (uninstall.SPERG.Hotkey) save your progress and uninstall via your main script manager, and your interface will be none the wiser!
(The basis of this mod was formed from Grax's move/rotate objects hotkey stuff, but it's been so boiled down and condensed and stripped to its absolute essential that frankly there's no way ANYBODY can really claim this as "their" script.)
Also the factories of a complex can now be cycled, in alphabetical order, via two hotkeys. Therefore the complex hub has to be targeted first. After that, any complex-factory can be targeted (e.g. via the terminal) to start cycling the factories from there.
As additional feature the "move step"-settings got two more distances: 1m and 10.000m.
press numpad 5 and then select the placement beacon.
I decided it made a great deal of sense to use this same mechanic for the placement of your own stations.
This script adds a command to the the special commands menu of TL ships with trade command software mk3 installed, "deploy placement beacons". One navigation relay satellite is required in the cargo of the TL for each nav beacon deployed.
There are two options for station placement.
The first creates a spherical array of nav beacons in a cubic close packed lattice. This is designed to be best for complexes between a few dozen and several hundred stations. There is no hard coded limit to the number of stations, but I make no guarantee of performance beyond a few hundred. If there are less than a few dozen stations, this may look kind of silly as it will be a heavily pixelated sphere.
For smaller complexes, I created the next option: a simple single level hexagonal grid. This is ideal for the placement of most food/bio/energy complexes because the way the nodes are placed on the models will allow for nicely aligned tubes.
There will be 2*(w*h + w + h) stations in such a grid, so for example a one by one grid will have spots for 6 stations.
Uses page ID 9433 and command slot 557.
This is my first script, so feedback both positive and negative is welcome!
[Edit]
If your wondering what sizes are good for the minimum station distances, I've found that 1km is good for small tech fabs, 2km should be sufficient for all the food facilities, M or L, and 4-5 km is sufficient for SPP XL and mines.
There is, of course, nothing stopping from using this script recursively, say to make a lattice with a separation of 20km, then several smaller spheres of hundreds of stations at each of the nodes. Well, nothing but creditsss and your computer :P
[/Edit]
[Edit 8/10/2011]
New version. Added hex grid placement option, fixed some overflow bugs that led to rounding errors, fixed issue with double placement of a few of the beacons.

Station Repacker v1.10
by alex2069
Description
If you've ever wanted to move your stations to another sector quickly and easily, now it's possible.
This script will allow you to order your TL to do just that.
Installation
The download is an .spk archive, which can be installed using the Plugin Manager by Cycrow.
Usage and Details
The script does not require any special upgrades, and can be found in the General menu of any player-owned TLs.
The TL must be within 10kms of the station, and (obviously) have enough room in its freight bay to carry it.
Also, the station must not have any credits or wares, and must not be in the middle of a production cycle. There must also be no ships docked.
Should you be selecting the hub of a complex you will be warned of the ramifications (below) and be required to confirm it.
Uninstall
Uninstall via the Plugin ;anager.
Technical
Uses Text File and Page File 2071
Uses General Command Slot 851
